We are back.

Dear Reader,

It has been some time since we have last updated the site, but we are back now.

We have been strolling around some cities in the world, finding exceptional styles.
Here are some of the things we would like to introduce.

Hope you like them.

Yours truly,
Haberdashery

GIOVANNI ALONGI
Via Ruggero Settimo, 46/A, Palermo, Sicily

When you are in Palermo, the capital city of Sicily, this is the place you want to pop by, and have a witty chat with Mr. Alongi.

GIOVANNI ALONGI is run by the ALONGI family since 1980, when Mr. Alongi opened the doors to his very own men’s store. Amazingly, he had already been having decades of experience in the business then, as he started to work in a men’s style shop when he was only 7 years of age.

He has a strong sense of style, very picky in the best way, and you can enjoy it through the selections of shirts to the specially ordered manikins to the grand interior he has selected for the store.

As a classy Sicilian man, Mr. Alongi doesn’t speak English, but his modern son, Mr. Gian Franco Alongi, will be a great help for you with his charming smile and well spoken English. And if you are lucky, you will also be greeted by their stylish miniature Schnauzer, Starsky.

Mr Alongi himself is to thank for the stores displays, witch he tends to with much love and care. Mr Alongi has also added many features to the store himself, including a hidden bar.

It is about taking time. The clothes they sell are not meant to fly of the shelves. You should tend to your purchase, like they tend to there service.

They tell us about a customer whom every year come from Japan to add new clothes to his wardrobe .

This is what GIOVANNI ALONGI is all about, a great relationship with their suppliers and to their customers.

Take your time…

FAbULOUS
S1 E2 Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan

We were in Sapporo, a beautiful northern city of Japan.
People are exceptionally kind, and the city is quiet in snow.

FAbULOUS is a store with enjoyable mixed stuff: Clothing, stationary, and a Café.

Style-wise, they will provide you All American classics, American vintage, and Japanese exquisite originals. Some of the items are only sold here in Hokkaido.

South2 West8
S2 W8 Chuo-ku, Saporo, Hokkaido, Japan

Out of blue, you will find the sign South2 West8, which is also the address of the store. Simple and easy, no need for maps.
You take yourself through the narrow corridor, and then, awe and amazement.
One could say that this is the closest youユll ever come to shop clothes in the Natural Museum, or grandpaユs mountain cabin.
Stuffed animals are as vital to the interior as the clothes you shop for.
Rugged is the word here, anything from American classics, anglophile clothing, to rare sneakers and bespoke Trickerユs.

They also have their own collaboration ranges with a variety of brands from both sides of the pond. Made in the original country with original materials, depending on what it is that they want to make ミ a mind to adore. They come with the South2 West8 nametag.
